Das neue Schiff – wird wie auch das Schwesternschiff „Alf Pollak“, das im Mai vom Stapel lief – zwischen Sizilien und Sardinien pendeln
Auch ein Pastor war extra angereist, um die“Maria Grazia Onorato“ zu segnen, bevor die Fähre dann von der Ehefrau des Reederei-Chefs getauft wurde. Das Schiff wird bis zu 280 Lkw zwischen Sardinien und Sizilien hin und her fahren.
Nach dem Stapellauf wurde es eng an der Ausrüstungspier der FSG. Dort liegt schon das italienische Schwesterschiff „Alf Pollak“, das im Oktober ausgeliefert werden soll, und die Fähre „W.B.Yeats“ für Irish Ferries, deren Auslieferung sich verzögert.
