Schneeball-Prachtharnischwels, L142 Baryancistrus spec. Snowflake (LDA33)

Bei dem im brasilianischen Rio Tapajós beheimateten Schneeball-Prachtharnischwels  handelt es sich um einen zur Familie der Harnischwelse gehörenden Fisch mit einer schwarzen Grundfärbung und auffallenden weißen Punkten der Musterung. Ziemlich markant sind auch der breite Kopf und das große Saugmaul.
Im Aquarium erlangt der Schneeball-Prachtharnischwels eine Größe von über 20 cm.
